FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

The Face Behind the Atelier

LUCAMESSY ATELIER was born from the vision of Luca Messina, an Italian photographer and creative director with long-standing experience in building images, visual identities and contemporary imaginaries.

After years dedicated to fashion photography, portraiture and urban visual culture, Luca brings a precise sensitivity to the project: transforming the provocative energy of Pop Art into collectible sculptures designed for high-end interiors.

Each piece is guided by a clear aesthetic direction, where subject, finish, light, proportion and visual presence become part of a single language.

The Face Behind the Atelier

From Photography to Object

Luca's visual background begins with photography: a language built on composition, light, atmosphere and control of detail.

The same attention is transferred into the works of the Atelier. A sculpture is not selected only for its form, but for its ability to inhabit a space, create presence and interact with materials, interiors and contemporary architecture.

For LUCAMESSY ATELIER, the object is never isolated. It is part of a scene, an interior, an identity.

Italian Creative Direction

LUCAMESSY ATELIER works through a precise selection of subjects, finishes and visual contrasts.

Each piece is developed with the aim of going beyond simple decoration and becoming an element of character: a pop, ironic and sophisticated sign, capable of transforming an environment without overpowering it.

The creative direction of the Atelier follows one essential principle: creating objects that increase the perceived value of the space in which they are placed.

Each piece occupies a precise point in the history of the Atelier.
